From The Sunday Film Series Newsletter:
"Coming in early 2015 (Oh, wait! That's THIS year!), "Working Horses" covers the landscape of perspectives surrounding the debate over working horses. The controversy involves farm horses in Massachusetts, and carriage horses in New York City's Central Park, and the film raises the question of whether it is ethical to use horses for labor, particularly when people's jobs are at stake. The film shows viewers the people- the animal rights activists, the farmers, the carriage drivers - behind the headlines, and the emotional connection the humans have toward the animals.

I sat down with the filmmakers, horsed around a little, and discussed their new film, their shooting & post production process, and why cinema verite is horseshit!
